Each year at the system wide technology conference, a new set of awards are given out and celebrated.
In addition, there is some basic background information about the award under a Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ) button and also some information on how to apply for an award. Finally there is the ability for the app to receive push messages, regarding the award announcements.
