Let users check real time availability of rooms and reserve huddle rooms.

Looking for a vacant room for meetings and alignments can be time consuming. You need to go floor to floor and room to room to check if there is an available room or write in the whiteboard for reservation. Room hoarding is another problem, some of the rooms are being used the whole day as if it’s a project room or workstation, some even leave laptops and bags inside.

The Bright Room app would solve all of this problems, a mobile app that will let users check real time availability of rooms and reserve huddle rooms.

View real-time status of huddle rooms (w/ view of current user)

Room reservation (5 mins grace period)

Check-in (confirm reservation when user is detected near the reserved room)

Check-out (manual checkout, away from room for > 15 mins, automatic checkout after 1 hour)
