This wallpaper is basically two dots rotating and, with their movement, creating a circle. The dots keep changing colors, and one is an opposite of the other, i.e. if the first's value of Red is 255, the second's is 0, if the first's is 55 the second's is 200, and so on.

This wallpaper was created in Processing, open-source software that lets you create visuals in Java. It's very intuitive, easy to learn, and there are plenty of tutorials and references at the official website. Give Processing a try at www.processing.org
