OCR screen

The OCR allows you to read text using text recognition. The text read can be used as SKU (item) or quantity.

On the OCR Plus Inventory Settings screen, you can let the text recognition how to read the text. You can enter how many lines, in which line you find the SKU and quantity. You can also specify text to be removed when the quantity line has text along with the numbers.

The app detects the text based on the setup for this screen. Once it has read the text for the right fields, the scanning stops and your are ready to save the entry or start over if the entry is not detected correctly.

You can adjust the entries before saving.

You can switch area/section by typing four characters on the SKU field. Once four digits have been entered, the and buttons are enabled to change area/section.

The OCR Plus Inventory Settings screen allows you to have some settings about items and quantities accepted.

Scanner Screen

The Scanner screen works similar to the OCR screen, but it detects codes. It can detect detect QR Code, UPC-A,UPC-E, AZTEC, Codabar, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Data Matrix, EAN-13, EAN-8, ITF, and PDF-417 codes. You can choose them on this app settings screen.

Id the code you are trying to scan is one of valid codes set on the setting screen, its value will be placed on the SKU field and you are now ready to enter the quantity.

You can also change area and section

Manual Entry Screen

On this screen you an enter all your SKUs and quantities using the device's keyboard.

Optionally, you can also use an external keypad.

Delete Screen

You have the option to delete the complete inventory, specific area, or specific section within an area.

You can delete just one area with all its sections.

You can delete a specific section within an specific area.

Next you have two dropdown lists. The first list has all areas.

Once you select an area, the section list is populated with sections in the area selected.

Once the section has been selected, the Delete/Don't delete switch is enabled.

Once the Delete/Don't delete switch is turned on, the button is also enabled.

Import/Export screen

This screen is used to import an item master or to export your inventory data.

File Name field is where you type the name of file that you want to save when exporting your data.

Below the file name, you can combine Detailed/Summarized buttons with the type of file you want to export.

Clicking the and buttons will save the file as JSON. This file can be sent thru WI-FI to your computer by clicking , but it is also saved on the folder you have granted access.

Clicking the and buttons will save the file on your device's folder.

The folder can only be used when clicking Detailed/JSON combination.

The is used to download the ITEM_MASTER.CSV file from your computer or my website.

Import File field is where you type a file name that matches a file that you have placed on the device's folder to which you granted access on this app Settings screen.

For example, I created ponce folder on my device. I can place ITEM_MASTER1.CSV in the ponce folder then type ITEM_MASTER1.CSV on the Import File field then click Import Item Master

There are specific formats that can be loaded as item master.

Your file can have from one to 10 fields separated by commas(,)
