Curtains or curtains are pieces of fabric or textiles that are used to block light. Curtains are often hung on the inside of a building's window to block the entry of light, for example at night to help sleep, or to prevent the light from coming out of the building (preventing outsiders from being able to see the inside of the curtain also provides visual separation in other situations such as a stage show where the actors make the final preparations for the show behind the curtain as the audience waits in front of the curtain.
