TEXTING WITH A FLICK OF THE WRIST

Discover a new way of sending text messages without a keyboard! The simplest and most efficient way to communicate when you’re in a hurry! This app lets you set your highest-priority contact and three different messages that are called up by a different movement of the phone. Just wave the phone Left-and-Right, Back-and-Forth, or Up-and-Down a few times, and the app will call up the message that you want. All you have to do is push “SEND.”

You’re running late to have lunch with a friend and need to let them know that you’re stuck in a meeting. But, you don’t have time to type in a message that you desperately need to send and let everyone in the meeting see that you’re texting. FWEXT lets you fill in an SMS text message in three easy steps. STEP 1 - Open the FWEXT app. STEP 2 - Shake the phone to call up message you want. STEP 3 - Hit send.

SET YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY CONTACT

With FWEXT, you can program the most important contact that you have. This way, you don’t have to scroll through your contact list in order to find this person and then start to type in the text. Of course, you can change this anytime you want.

SET THREE DIFFERENT MESSAGES

FWEXT has an algorithm that is designed to detect three different movements of your phone. Wave the phone left-to-right and one message comes up. Wave the phone back-and-forth, another message is typed in. Shake the phone up-and-down and you get a third message. You could set left-right as “Running late, wait for me,” back-forth as “Merry Christmas,” and up-down as “Can’t talk now, will call you later.” Just like your priority contact, you can change your pre-set messages whenever you need.

This app is still technically in beta mode. It has to be the active app to work. Eventually, we're hoping to build an app with crowdfunding that will allow you to simply shake your phone and send messages, without having to open the app.
