Davido started his music career in the United States of America, with a music group, KB International but returned to Nigeria. His first single, 'Back When' was released May, 2011 and it became an instant hit. It was the song that brought him into limelight. It was embraced by music lovers all over the country. October 11, he released another hit single, 'Dami Duro' and it also became a hit. He uses it as an opening song for many of his shows and if you follow them, you'd have heard it several times.

Since then he had released so many singles and they all became hits, which is a proof that he is actually talented. Mocked as 'frog voice', Davido is a proof that voice wasn't a limitation to a musical career. He was given the name by Wizkid, when they both were beefing but they reconciled December, 2017 at the Davido's 30 Billion Concert which reportedly turned in ₦500 million in a single night.

Davido has since 2011 gotten a lot of hit singles, some of them include, 'Dami Duro', 'Aye', 'Skelewu', 'Assurance', 'Fia', 'Fall' and so many others. He has also been featured in a movie, 'Legend at Sixty'.
