The CRISTOVISIÓN Foundation was created in Colombia in 2003, as a non-profit entity dedicated to the creation, creation and production of communicative products with an evangelizing emphasis, promoting social well-being and strengthening the spirituality of believers.

Father Ramón Zambrano Echeverri, manager of the initiative, had the initial purpose of giving continuity to the Holy Mass that had been broadcast every Sunday at 7:30 in the morning, on one of the national television channels. From that moment and thanks to the support shown by viewers, the work CRISTOVISIÓN began to gain ground in the media, not only with projects of a communicative nature, but also of a social nature. In essence, what it aims to do is serve the community through teaching the word of God.

The Cristovisión Channel is operating in the center of Fontibón and is ready to serve the family, the city and the Church. With the channel, the evangelizing mission of the Church is enhanced and the purpose of creating friendlier and more attractive spaces “to see the world with the eyes of Jesus” is achieved. Our fight is to favor the defense of life and the promotion of human rights and fundamental values: it is the purpose of those of us who have committed ourselves to the task of evangelization through the media. Also, Christovides are offered the possibility of acquiring and reinforcing attitudes that allow them to actively participate in the construction of a more supportive, responsible, tolerant and peaceful society.
