Björk Gudmundsdóttir or Bjork is a singer and songwriter from Iceland, as well as also starred in a movie.

His career as a singer started from the age of eleven, but just joined his first band, Spit and Snot (1979). After that, Bjork varied musih group, sequentially in between, Exodus (1979-1980), Jam-80 (1980), Cactus (period 1982), Stigrim (period 1982), Tappi Tíkarrass (1981-1983), Rokka Rokka Drum (1984), PUKL (1984), KUKL (1983-1986), The Elgar Sisters (1983-1986), The Sugarcubes (1986-1992), Hljómsveit Konráðs B - (period 1989/1990) and Björk Guðmundsdóttir & Tríó Guðmundar Ingólfssonar (1990).

In 1992, Bjork went on a solo career path and his solo debut Debut was released in June 1993. In the same year, he collaborated with David Arnold, working on the Play Dead song for the soundtrack of The Young Americans (1993).

Subsequent albums were released solo, including Post (1994), Homogenic (1997), Vespertine (2001), Family Tree (2002), Medúlla (2004), Army of Me: Remixes and Covers (2004), Drawing Restraint 9 (2005) and others. From the albums he managed to achieve the 12 times nominated Grammy Award.

In addition, Björk also follows the acting world with his movie debut The Juniper Tree (1990). Following the successful film Dancer in the Dark (2000), Screaming Masterpiece (2002).

While related to his personal life, Björk until now living together with Matthew Barney, with one child. Nevertheless, he also lived the same life as Thor Eldon, and dikuriniai two children.
